Terms of Service

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tawun online freelance marketplace platform made available via https://www.tawun.ae and any related websites, applications, features, tools, and services (collectively, the "Platform" or "Tawun"). By accessing or using Tawun, you ("you" or the "User") agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TAWUN HUB - FZCO (the "Company", "we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not access or use Tawun.

These Terms incorporate by reference the Company's Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how the Company collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal data in connection with Tawun. The Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, raised issues, no-shows and related payment outcomes are handled on the Platform. The Company may update or modify these Terms or any incorporated policy from time to time. Any changes will become effective upon posting the updated Terms or policy on Tawun (with an updated "Last Updated" date). You should review these Terms and the incorporated policies periodically. Your continued access to or use of Tawun after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and policies.

1. Definitions

1.1 For clarity, here are key terms used in these Terms:

1.1.1 Platform/Services

The online freelance marketplace platform made available as Tawun (the "Platform"), which enables Users to offer freelance services as Specialists and to request and purchase freelance services as Explorers (each such freelance service, a "Service").

1.1.2 User

Any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including both Specialists (service providers) and Explorers (clients).

1.1.3 Specialist (Service Provider)

A User who offers and provides Services to Explorers via the Platform.

1.1.4 Explorer (Client)

A User who purchases or requests Services from a Specialist via the Platform.

1.1.5 Order/Contract

A binding agreement between an Explorer and a Specialist for a specific Service, formed when an Explorer purchases a Service from a Specialist through the Platform. The Explorer and Specialist are solely responsible for the Order's performance.

1.1.6 User Content

Information or content that Users provide or post on the Platform, such as profiles, service listings, descriptions, messages, deliverables, feedback, and any other materials.

1.1.7 Platform Content

Content provided by us on the Platform (other than User Content), including the site design, text, graphics, logos, software, and trademarks.

1.1.8 Payment Processor

Mamo or any other third-party payment processor appointed by the Company to process Explorer payments, refunds, chargebacks, payouts and related payment functions on the Platform.

1.1.9 Booking Protection Fee

Any booking protection, platform protection or similar fee charged to an Explorer in connection with an Order, as disclosed at checkout or on the Platform.

1.1.10 Verified/Verified by UAE Pass

A status indicating that a User's identity has been verified through UAE Pass. This does not mean that the Company has verified a Specialist's permits, licences, employment status, legal authority, qualifications, or regulatory compliance to provide any Service.
